During the 2025-2026 school-year, Kristen Luongo will be serving not only as a school counselor at Smithfield High School, but she will be working as the Career and Technical Program Advisor as well.

Her mission is to help students develop a personalized educational plan that includes selecting the right sequence of CTE courses for each student's pathway, as well as promote the value of career and technical education within the school and community.

Through building and maintaining strong partnerships with local businesses, industries, and workforce development agencies, she strives to create an inclusive and flexible career preparation program that supports diverse student needs.
